**COVID-19 specific information**

Access to information is particularly important with the COVID-19 pandemic, as the situation is highly fluctuating and prevention and response messages are evolving in response to scientific knowledge and the local spread of the virus. Making your information accessible for all is a must.

************************

Persons with disabilities in many countries are missing out on vital information, especially when a crisis comes. This is because information is not being made available in accessible formats. It is crucial that public health information and communication is fully accessible to everyone, and that persons with disabilities can stay up to date on changing health advice.

Closed captioning is a process of displaying text on the screen of any display device (television, mobile screen...) to provide additional or interpretive information.
